Marc Ventre was unanimously re-elected Chairman of Afnor by its Board of Directors. This election was validated, as required by the articles of association, by ministers Bruno Le Maire and Agnès Pannier-Runacher.
Born in 1950, Marc Ventre is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris and holds a Master of Science from the Massachussets Institute of Technology. With a background in the aerospace industry, he made his mark at Safran, where he was Executive Vice President, Operations from 2011 to 2015. Marc Ventre is President of the IESF (French Society of Engineers and Scientists). He has chaired Afnor's Board of Directors since 2017, and is now serving a second term.
