The Asgard Group is pursuing its growth strategy with the acquisition on February 10, 2023 of the assets of Newsteo through AOIP, its 100%-owned subsidiary %.
Newsteo, based in La Ciotat, France, has been offering a complete wireless sensor and measurement management solution for traceability, alerting and supervision since 2005. IoT, intelligent sensors, radio transmission, low-speed, low-power and long-range communication are the technologies mastered by Newsteo to offer its customers systems for monitoring parameters such as temperature, pressure, humidity, shocks, etc. in demanding environments: Newsteo's gateways enable measurements to be sent to a local PC or to the Cloud, with the Webmonitor application enabling management in the Cloud or on a mobile or PC.
AOIP also supplies data acquisition systems worldwide, mainly based on dataloggers and wired sensors, supervised by its Visulog software. The integration of Newsteo will enable AOIP to reinforce the richness of its solutions and expand its ability to meet customer needs.
The Newsteo metrology laboratory also offers Cofrac-accredited temperature calibration services. The laboratory is integrated, alongside the other Cofrac laboratories, by Sofimae.

Sofimae holds eleven Cofrac accreditations (Temperature, Pressure, Acceleration, Time - Frequency, Electricity - Magnetism, Ionizing Radiation, Radiometry - Photometry and Dimensional) and operates from its laboratories based in Paris, Lille and Nevers.
