Stabilized laser sources from 530 nm to 785 nm

Pd Ld Inc - Laser

Stabilized laser sources are required for various applications, such as Raman or confocal spectroscopy, interferometry, lithography and fluorescence measurements. In the past, HeNe lasers were used for these tasks, but alternative solutions are now taking over: wavelength-stabilized laser diodes are more compact and more efficient.

Laser Components presents the new series from its partner PD-LD. These are the SLM single-mode series, 647 nm - 785 nm, and the GB530, 530 nm; the LML multimode emitter is still available. All models use proven volume Bragg grating technology to stabilize the laser wavelength to within 0.5 nm and linewidth to a maximum of 0.08 nm.

These laser sources are available in different versions. In addition to the free optical version, multimode and singlemode fiber-coupled models are available. Depending on the model, the wavelength range extends from 530 nm to 6xx nm at 785 nanometers. Optical output power ranges from 50 mW to 500 mW. The systems feature an integrated power supply, an operating voltage of just 5 V, and modulation up to 100 kHz.

Additional features of these laser sources include an integrated monitoring diode, Peltier cooling elements, and a USB interface for direct control via a PC.
