The Almemo 2690-8 is a data acquisition system, or data logger as some will call it, with a highly intuitive drop-down menu for all your applications. In fact, this instrument was designed with a very precise objective in mind: to simplify measurement for your technicians and operators. This ambitious objective has been achieved for several years now thanks to the manufacturer AHLBORN, which Wimesure has represented exclusively for almost 20 years. Since then, the 5-input (20-channel) instrument has been constantly evolving to remain at the cutting edge of development. Thanks to Almemo's intelligent connector system, all your sensors can simply be plugged into one of the data logger's inputs, without the need for an external module. The sensor type will be recognized almost instantaneously, and the measurement values will be given in the appropriate physical units. Even if you decide to use your own sensors, we'll supply you with the appropriate Almemo connectors already programmed, together with the connection diagram. Thanks to its 24-bit delta-sigma A/D converter, our recorder ensures rigorous measurement values, as its microprocessor operates with extreme precision and speed. What's more, the Q5 option gives you a sampling frequency of 500Hz (500 measurements per second). The Almemo 2690-8's clear graphic display, illuminated by five white LEDs, shows all measurable variables in an ideal, easy-to-read manner, in real time during measurement. It also provides the user with a clear, easy-to-understand guide. To process the recorded data, a multitude of interfaces can be connected to the datalogger's output socket, using appropriate connector cables. Cables are available for the following interfaces: RS 232, RS 422, fiber optics, USB, Ethernet and Centronics. Last but not least, the 2690-8 has a built-in distributor to link the control units together via a network. Using our AMR-Contrôle or Win-Contrôle programming and processing software, relatively complicated configurations and programming can be carried out more or less effortlessly.
