Tomography: Zeiss acquires Italy's Bosello High Technology

Zeiss (Germany) and Bosello High Technology (Italy) jointly announced on December 19, 2017 that the Zeiss Group is acquiring a majority stake in the industrial X-ray solutions provider.

For Zeiss, Bosello's tailor-made solutions are a further step towards the goal of becoming a single-source supplier of non-destructive measurement and inspection technologies. The common goal is to strengthen tomography-based inspection in the production chain, a technology that raises the quality level of part inspection. The customer focus will begin with the automotive industry.
