La Fédération de la Plasturgie et des Composites et Bpifrance lancent la première promotion de l’Accélérateur Plasturgie & Composites : 17 PME & ETI accompagnées pour booster leur croissance.

To enhance the competitiveness of companies in the sector, the Fédération de la plasturgie et des composites has joined forces with Bpifrance to launch the first promotion of the Plasturgie et Composites Accelerator, dedicated to 17 manufacturers. Targeted and personalized, this 24-month program aims to accelerate the growth of companies and give them the keys to meeting tomorrow's challenges (skills development, digitalization, internationalization, innovation, etc.).

Announced in June 2018, the Plastics and Composites Accelerator, placed under the French Fab banner, aims to support manufacturers in the sector in developing a sustainable business model. The circular economy and eco-design will be at the heart of this program. The plastics and composites industry occupies an important place in the French economic fabric, as it is linked to a multitude of markets (aeronautics, automotive...). Sales in the French plastics industry amount to just over 30 billion euros, making it the 3rd largest in Europe.e European player and the 6the global player.

For 24 months, members will benefit from both individual and collective support, offering :

The SMEs and ETIs in the class will be able to benefit from a program that has proved its worth: by March 2019, 650 companies had passed through a Bpifrance Accelerator, deployed either by Bpifrance itself or in partnership with industry sectors and the Regions.

"With our Accelerators, we do everything we can to help SMEs and ETIs grow and reach the critical size they need to project themselves worldwide, says Guillaume Mortelier, Bpifrance Executive Director in charge of support and the build-up fund. The Plastics and Composites Accelerator is a fantastic opportunity to help SMEs and ETIs in the sector to take a strategic step back and surround themselves with the right advice and skills. "

" To anticipate the accelerating economic and environmental transformations, our industry needs solid growth drivers. The Plastics & Composites Accelerator is one of them! Among the program's highlights are master classes and hands-on experience with real-life case studies, focusing on the issues faced by companies in the gas pedal, particularly those linked to the circular economy and the energy transition, says Benoît Hennaut, President of the Fédération de la plasturgie et des composites.
