The Asgard Group is pursuing its acquisition strategy with the completion on January 31, 2022 of the acquisition of AJ Service through Dimelco, its 100%-owned subsidiary %.
For over 20 years, AJ Servicebased in Vélizy (78), specializes in the sale of vibration test equipment in France, as well as associated services, including installation, training and maintenance of equipment for its customers. The company offers high quality, high value-added products for testing components, assemblies and structures under development within R&D departments. These same products are also used for quality testing in intermediate and final production phases.
AJ Service's customers include major industrial groups, test laboratories and SMEs in the aerospace, defense, automotive, rail and shipping industries.
The pooling of Dimelco's and AJ Service's services and products will enable the group to improve its response to customer expectations, by strengthening its product offering for quality and severe environment testing.
The Asgard Group, with its subsidiaries AOIP, Dimelco and Sofimae, operates in a wide range of sectors including energy, automotive, nuclear, defense, aerospace, transport, telecoms, industry, laboratories and education.
AOIP is a recognized player in the field of measurement, whose equipment and solutions are used by over 40,000 customers in some sixty countries, covering all industrial and laboratory sectors. The company designs, develops and sells instrumentation equipment (calibration, ohmmeters and data acquisition systems), navigation systems and motor starters. Dimelco is a specialized distributor present throughout France, offering multi-brand test and measurement equipment for industrial use, as well as instrumentation and process solutions. Sofimae, merged with Semelec since its acquisition in 2018, and with DPG in 2020, is a metrology company offering a full range of verification, calibration, maintenance and asset management services for all brands, on site or in its laboratories. Sofimae holds three Cofrac accreditations (temperature, time-frequency and electricity-magnetism).
