The Asgard Group is pursuing its acquisition strategy with the completion on October 14, 2022 of the acquisition of Nimtech through AOIP, its 100%-owned subsidiary %.
Founded in 2010 by a team of engineers who design measurement and test instruments, Nimtech has developed a range of innovative instrumentation equipment. Drawing on a wealth of experience in applications related to the pyrotechnics environment, Nimtech designs and manufactures products adapted to standard industrial uses, as well as providing solutions to specific needs. Nimtech has a diversified presence in the Aerospace, Armaments, Automotive, Industry and Energy sectors.
AOIP also supplies test and instrumentation systems worldwide, incorporating all the safety features required for use in pyrotechnic environments. For example, AOIP designs and manufactures firing systems for pyrotechnic initiators, insulation testers and equipment for continuity and/or insulation measurements on pyrotechnic systems. The integration of Nimtech will enable AOIP to reinforce the richness of its solutions and broaden its ability to meet its customers' needs.
The Asgard Group, with its subsidiaries AOIP, Dimelco and Sofimae, operates in a wide range of sectors including energy, automotive, nuclear, defense, aerospace, transport, telecoms, industry, laboratories and education. AOIP is a recognized player in Measurement, whose equipment and solutions are used by over 40,000 customers in some 60 countries, covering all sectors of industry and laboratories. It designs, develops and sells instrumentation equipment (Calibration, Ohmmeters and Data Acquisition Systems), navigation systems and engine starters. Dimelco, merged with Sanor in 2019 and strengthened by the acquisition of AJ Service in 2022, is a specialized distributor present throughout France, offering multi-brand test and measurement equipment for industrial use, as well as instrumentation and process solutions. Sofimae, merged with Semelec in 2018, with DPG in 2020 and with Thuel and Medixlab in 2022, is a metrology company offering services, verification, calibration, maintenance and asset management carried out on site or in its laboratories. Sofimae holds seven Cofrac accreditations (Temperature, Pressure, Time - Frequency, Electricity - Magnetism, Dimensional, Photometrics and Ionizing Radiation) and operates from its laboratories based in Paris, Lille and Nevers.
