The international standard ISO 11352, adopted in France with the new version of NF T90-220, should be available in French during November 2012. This standard specifies a set of procedures designed to enable laboratories to estimate the measurement uncertainty of their results, using an approach based on internal and/or external quality control results and method validation data. It is structured in such a way that it can be applied by analysts who do not have in-depth knowledge of metrology or statistics. Afnor is organizing a training session on this standard on December 3.
