Rendez-vous optics-photonics for the industry of the future 2021 and presentation of the Jean Jerphagnon prize

Les rendez-vous de l'optique et de la photonique, annual meetings organized jointly by the ITM and the Académie des Technologies, will take place on July 7 during a special session at the Optique Dijon 2021 Congress. This will also be the occasion for the announcement of the winner of the Prix Jean Jerphagnon.

The aim of these meetings is to raise the scientific community's awareness of the changes and major industrial challenges in the field of optics and photonics, for the industry of the future.

They are the setting for the Jean Jerphagnon prize, which rewards young researchers for their innovation and technology transfer in all fields of optics and photonics.

Alain Aspect will present the finalists and announce the winners.

The Jean Jerphagnon prize is worth €12,000.

The jury examined six entries and judged their diversity and quality to be excellent, in keeping with the quality of this prize. After careful consideration and deliberation, the jury selected four candidates for either the prize or an accessit. The committee strongly encourages this year's shortlisted candidates to expand and deepen their work with a view to future nominations.
