To open the gala evening of Industrie Lyon 2015, the winners of the Innovation Awards were unveiled in front of more than 850 guests. With 148 new products in the running this year, and 14 products and services shortlisted, innovation remains a key value at the show.
4 companies won trophies in the environment, ergonomics, productivity and technology categories, after defending their innovations to a panel of expert judges on March 25. A Coup de Coeur and, for the first time, the Industrial Manager of the Year trophy were also awarded.

Akeo Plus - intelligent kitting mobile robot IKR 4.0
IKR 4.0 is an innovative collaborative system for kitting operations to move boxes of varying weight and size from one place to another. The system comprises a collaborative robot placed on a miiwa-type mobile platform (Kuka), a 5-finger robotic gripper (Schunk), software development from Ensam Lille and artificial intelligence from Akeo Plus.
The industrial manager trophy 2015 was awarded to Jean-Claude Gas, President of SGame, a company that set up an ISO 26000 certification process in 2013, and in 2014 achieved the highest level of AAA (excellence) without any outside help. Since then, the working atmosphere and financial results have improved significantly.
