North Star Imaging announces the relocation of its West Coast X-ray inspection services facility to Aliso Viejo, California. The new, much larger site will support the growth of this business, providing adequate storage space for the larger parts that will be scanned there, as well as more room to accommodate new innovations as the site's activity continues to expand.
"We know that this year is, and will continue to be, very challenging for everyone, due to Covid-19. Nonetheless, we're all very excited about this development, a testament to the confidence our group, ITW, has in our growth plans for the West Coast."says David Nokk, US Inspection Services Business Manager.
The NSI site on the west coast, in Aliso Viejo, has an X3000, an X5000 and another X5000 with a 450kV source. This means that the site can scan parts as small as a few microns, right up to barrels of almost 200 liters (50 gallons), and process single parts, as well as larger batches, very quickly.
"With my team, we can do 2D, 3D and 4D scans. Very soon, we'll also have a High Energy system, which will be a major asset in supporting our aeronautics, aerospace and defense customers in the United States. This new system will be available this year. I'm particularly pleased that our West Coast customers will be the first to benefit from the power and capabilities offered by this system.says Kevin Bresnahan, Business Development Manager for the west coast.
"We are delighted to be able to add high-energy to our portfolio, to support our customers in these needs, and thus contribute to further improving the industry's ability to deliver safe and reliable products. Our customers are the driving force behind our development, and our vocation is to provide solutions that meet their needs. premium world-class companies with some of the most challenging inspection requirements for their mission-critical projects. I would like to thank all our customers, partners and friends who have made this possible.adds Seth Taylor, General Manager from North Star Imaging.
