On the occasion of JEC World (May 3 to 5, 2022 – Paris-Nord Villepinte), Cetim – French Center of Mechanical Expertise, labeled Institut Carnot, announces that it has signed a framework agreement with Dassault Aviation, relating to the production of composite specimens and tomography control services for large parts for a period of five years.
Dassault Aviation relies on Cetim for its test tube manufacturing and tomography testing of composite parts. In 2021, this confidence was materialized by the signing of a framework agreement for the production of composite specimens (including machining and all preparation: installation and bonding of heels, assemblies, screws) and Falcon's tomography control services.
Through this agreement, Dassault Aviation recognizes Cetim's ability to adapt and respond in an agile manner to new demands, including the construction of complex specimens. Already a supplier of standard specimens for the aircraft manufacturer for several years, Cetim has set up a dedicated organization and invested in two new machines: a Datron M10 Pro machining center and a new generation cutting machine capable of processing plates and parts of larger dimensions (up to 2 meters long). A key advantage is its unique capabilities in France in X-ray tomography testing of very large parts, with the necessary certifications and accreditations in the aerospace sector.
Cetim will be present at JEC Wold from 3 to 5 May, on stand F06 in Hall 6 to present its latest innovations and services related to composites, from design, implementation, to recycling and training.
