On the occasion of the JEC World trade show (May 3 to 5, 2022 - Paris-Nord Villepinte), Cetim - France's mechanical expertise center and Institut Carnot accredited institute - announces that it has signed a framework agreement with Dassault Aviation, covering the production of composite test specimens and tomography inspection services for large parts over a five-year period.
Dassault Aviation relies on Cetim for the manufacture of test specimens and tomographic inspection of composite parts. In 2021, this confidence has materialized with the signature of a framework agreement covering the manufacture of composite test specimens (including machining and all preparation work: fitting and bonding of heels, assemblies, screwing) and tomographic inspection services for Falcon parts.
With this agreement, Dassault Aviation recognizes Cetim's ability to adapt and respond agilely to new demands, in particular the production of complex test specimens. Already a supplier of standard test specimens to the aircraft manufacturer for several years, Cetim has set up a dedicated organization and invested in two new machines: a Datron M10 Pro machining center and a new-generation debiteuse capable of processing larger plates and parts (up to 2 meters long). The company's unique capabilities in France for X-ray tomography inspection of very large parts, combined with the certifications and accreditations required in the aerospace sector, are also a key advantage.
Cetim will be present at JEC Wold from May 3 to 5, on stand F06 in Hall 6, to present its latest innovations and services related to composites, from design and processing to recycling and training.
