The organizers of the WNE (World Nuclear Exhibition) have sent a message announcing the postponement of the show. It may be held at the end of 2021...
Message from the organizers: " As you know, for several months now we have been experiencing an unprecedented global health crisis, the first consequence of which for WNE has been its postponement from June to December 2020.
Throughout this exceptional and unprecedented period, we were in regular contact with the global civil nuclear community. Our determination to maintain the show went hand in hand with the need to assess our ability to mobilize international professionals. Since the beginning of September, the evolution of the pandemic, the closure of borders and the implementation of quatorzaines, particularly in Europe, have made it impossible for too many of them to come to the show in December.
GIFEN Services and Reed Expositions France are therefore forced to make the difficult decision not to hold WNE in December 2020.
With the theme of decarbonization, this December's edition, which was looking very promising, could not live up to your expectations and our ambitions for the event and for the global nuclear industry this year.
We are currently examining all possible postponement opportunities for WNE, with a focus on the 4th quarter of 2021, and we will be keen to preserve the fundamentals that have made WNE a success in the past and have been its DNA since 2014: the quality of its international audience, the generation of business contacts and the spotlight on nuclear expertise and innovation.
We would like to thank you for your support during this particularly hectic period, and will get back to you as soon as possible to inform you of the dates and location of this 4th edition of WNE. "
