The organizers of the WNE (World Nuclear Exhibition) have sent a message announcing the postponement of the show. It might be held at the end of 2021 ...
Message from the organizers: “ You know, for several months now we have been going through an unprecedented global health crisis, the first consequence of which for WNE was its postponement from June to December 2020.
Throughout this exceptional and unprecedented period, we have spoken very regularly with the world civil nuclear community. Our determination to maintain the show went hand in hand with the necessary appreciation of our ability to mobilize international professionals. Since the beginning of September, the evolution of the pandemic, the closure of borders and the establishment of fourteen, especially in Europe, have made the arrival of too many of them impossible in December.
GIFEN Services and Reed Expositions France are therefore forced today to take the heavy decision not to hold WNE in December 2020.
Placed under the theme of decarbonization, this December edition, which looked very promising, could not live up to your expectations and our ambitions for the event as well as for the global nuclear industry this year.
We are currently studying all the postponement opportunities for WNE with a focus on the 4th quarter of 2021 and we will be keen to preserve the fundamentals that have made WNE successful in the past and have been its DNA since 2014: the quality of its international audience, the generation of business contacts and the highlighting of nuclear expertise and innovation.
We thank you for your support during this particularly hectic period and will get back to you very soon to inform you of the dates and place of this 4th edition of WNE. "
