Test interface K7K92201 for i7090 tester
A high-performance, high-quality mechanical test interface designed for the Keysight i7090 tester.
Developed by H+W Tests Products, one of the world's leading manufacturers of test fixture kits, and distributed exclusively by Cotelec in France, Spain, Portugal and North Africa, the new K7K92201 Mechanical Test Interface has been designed specifically for the new Keysight i7090 automatic in-line tester.
For the record, launched at the end of 2021, the Keysight i7090 tester enables massively parallel testing, on multiple printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), to achieve high volume throughput.
Like the various test devices for in-circuit, functional and combinatorial testers for automated test system (ATE) users manufactured by H+W Test Products, the new K7K92201 mechanical test interface boasts a high-end, top-quality design.
A highly efficient mechanical solution, this new test interface features no less than 20 parallel cores, offering flexible scalability and configuration, as well as the possibility of running tests on multiple units under test (UUT).
What's more, the new K7K92201 test interface enables production tests to be carried out as and when required, and offers the advantage of a low total cost of ownership for high or very high volume manufacturing, thus reducing investment in the system. The system's small footprint, 600 mm wide, saves space and reduces cycle times.
Another key feature of the new K7K92201 test interface is the inclusion of powerless test and extended performance vectorless test (nanoVTEP) technologies for component testing, enabling the benefits of faster test throughput, less costly fixtures and higher fault coverage.

From a practical point of view, the K7K92201 test interface offers significant advantages in terms of integration and use:
- Instrument integration with Keysight's OpenTAP software, within the same platform, for efficient functional test measurements and PXI support for Keysight and third-party instruments.
- Multi-platform hardware support in a standard 48 cm rack for functional integration.
- Integrated programming functions enable 160 channels to be programmed in parallel, increasing system throughput.
