For dynamic applications in industry and research, Symetrie presents Hegoa, a new ultra-compact hexapod just 42 cm high.
Designed to position loads of up to 50 kg at speeds of 200 mm/s and 50%, the Hegoa hexapod offers strokes of ±100 mm in X, Y, ±50 mm in Z, ±23° in Rx, Ry, and ±30° in Rz. Drawing on Symetrie's 20 years' experience in developing highly dynamic hexapods, Hegoa guarantees acceleration of 800 mm/s.2 in translation and 200%2 in rotation. Its small diameter of 500 mm makes it ideal for use in laboratories or cramped environments. Thanks to its six degrees of freedom, Hegoa can be used to test gyrostabilized optronic systems or sensors to be mounted on a vehicle (tank, ship, drone, etc.).
Control of the hexapod is facilitated by an ergonomic graphical user interface that allows you to generate sinusoidal trajectories or import external trajectories, recorded via an inertial unit for example.
As an option, a real-time external trajectory control (ERTT) function is available. It enables the user to control the hexapod in real time using his own trajectory generator, which can be coupled with sensors, cameras, joystick, etc.
