As a manufacturer of standard mechanical components for industrial machinery and equipment, Elesa has recently extended its range of magnetic linear and angular displacement displays to include a standard version with radio-frequency data transmission.
The new MPI-R10-RF magnetic display connected to the FC-MPI sensor and combined with the M-BAND-10 magnetic strip features easy mounting and removal of the device from the panel thanks to a retaining clip system (Emesa patent), which does not require the use of screws. According to the manufacturer, the display's many functions make it easy to set up and adapt to different measuring and cutting machines.
The FC-MPI magnetic sensor is available in various lengths. Its snap-fit assembly facilitates mounting on the screen. Moving along the M-BAND magnetic strip, the sensor enables precise alignment and positioning, reducing machining time and procedures to a minimum.
Gone are the days of costly cables between the various indicators and the control unit. The MPI-R10-RF can communicate via radio frequency (RF) with the UC-RF control unit, providing a wireless system for rapid positioning of machine parts or multi-axis measurements. This eliminates the need for costly cables between the various indicators and the control unit.
The UC-RF control unit features a standard interface for the most common industrial buses to be connected to the PLC, and exchanges information with up to 36 MPI-R10-RFs, offering the possibility of viewing the various target positions on each screen and simultaneously on the PLC, ensuring complete control of all machine positions.
