At the next Global Industrie, to be held in Paris Nord Villepinte from March 25 to 28, 2024, the Zeiss Group will have a 190 m² stand comprising two islands: one reserved for metrology machines and tomographs, and a second area dedicated to optical microscopy and the receptive part. This stand will be located in hall 5 (stand R126).
The company will be showcasing its solutions, services and technologies in quality control for the aerospace, medical, plastics and eMobility industries. The full range of optical and tactile three-dimensional measuring machines, 3D scanners, X-ray tomography machines and microscopes on show will enable visitors to witness demonstrations in real time.
Three new products on display
The Zeiss Multiload, Metrotom 6 Scout and Scanbox 5110 will be among the new products on show.
The Zeiss MultiLoad is an automated loading and unloading solution designed for coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). The system can handle several CMMs simultaneously, optimizing workflow and minimizing waiting times. It will be exhibited at the show in conjunction with the Zeiss DuraMax workshop CMM.
This equipment can load and unload parts on multiple pallets, making possible completely unattended working hours and weekends. According to Zeiss, it offers an effective solution for maximizing throughput, minimizing operator involvement and ensuring accurate measurements, all at a reduced operating cost.
Equipped with Zeiss Inspect software that can generate detailed reports, the ScanBox 5110 is a robotic measurement solution designed for automated inspections of large parts or batches of small parts. It features an integrated robotics system that facilitates part loading and unloading, increasing efficiency and reducing the need for manual intervention. One of the main advantages of the ScanBox 5110 is its ability to deliver consistently accurate and reliable measurements.
A non-destructive measurement solution, the Metrotom 6 scout tomograph from Zeiss will be in operation for the first time at Global Industrie. This equipment provides detailed non-contact analysis of internal and external parts, using X-ray technology to create high-resolution, three-dimensional images of a part's interior.
Particularly useful for industries where precision is crucial, such as automotive, aerospace and electronics, the Metrotom 6 scout can help detect internal defects, measure internal and external features and check part assembly.
More than a stand, a unique experience
In order to offer an immersive experience, visitors will be able to try out a virtual reality headset that will allow them to plunge into the heart of the Zeiss Xradia Versa 620, a 3D X-ray microscope for very high-resolution imaging. There will also be a mini-stand on Zeiss observation optics for nature lovers.
Showcasing and promoting the metrology of tomorrow
Zeiss will also be present in other strategic areas of the show, both to promote tomorrow's new technologies and to showcase and recruit future talent.
The group will be at the "ConformiTech360" event organized by Evolis (hall 5, stand 5V91) on the theme of industrial measurement and control. A course dedicated to production quality and sport will be presented. Ten stages will be run through with a golf ball, characterizing, at each stage, the ball's various parameters with state-of-the-art equipment. The Zeiss Atos Q 3D scanner will be used to generate a digital twin of the golf ball.
At the Global Industrie "Avenir" event (hall 6) dedicated to employment and human resources, a Zeiss counter will present the company's job offers and offer the opportunity to meet candidates during 30-minute job datings, on Wednesday March 27 from 9am to 5pm.
