The Forum de l'électronique Sud-Est, the trade show for innovation, imaging and electronic solutions, was held in Avignon on September 29, 30 and October 1, during Sepem Industries, demonstrating the complementary nature of exhibiting expertise, as well as the regional opportunities for bringing together electronics manufacturers and other industrial users.
This joint 2020 edition showed positive signs of an upturn in physical exchanges between manufacturers, despite a timid visitor base (1,029 qualified manufacturers), in a particular economic and health context.
"Despite the difficult economic context, the exchanges with exhibitors and visitors were very beneficial for our digital industry".says Ludwig Ferren, President of the VPN (Vaucluse Pro Numérique) association.
The following topics were addressed during the electronics afternoons: "What approaches, support and solutions are needed to support the Industry of the Future?" and "IoT at the service of industry". Videos of the conferences are available on Youtube.
Other highlights of the show: "Digital transformation in the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region", with the participation of the SCS cluster and Cap Tronic; "Digital training in industry", organized by the Lycée Professionnel La Salle in partnership with the Vaucluse Pro Numérique cluster and Waya Tech and Brad Technology.
The next meetings of the Forum de l'électronique en régions are the Forum de l'électronique Toulouse, on June 1, 2 and 3, 2021, and the Forum de l'électronique Angers, on October 12, 13 and 14, 2021. These shows will be held alongside Sepem Industries Sud-Ouest and Centre Ouest.
