In the lab or in the field, the new Liquiline Mobile CML18 portable multiparameter transmitter from Endress + Hauser can be used in a variety of applications and fits in any pocket.
With this portable transmitter, measuring pH, redox potential, conductivity and dissolved oxygen is done with just one device. Thanks to digital Memosens technology, switching from one sensor to another is, according to the manufacturer, “child's play”. The transmitter immediately recognizes the connected sensor, downloads the saved sensor data and displays the correct measured value. The sensors no longer need to be calibrated on site and can be pre-calibrated in the lab.
To monitor the processes over a longer period, it is possible to use the device's data logger function and store more than 10,000 values.
Data security and consistency
Liquiline Mobile CML18 and its Memosens technology guarantee maximum data security as well as 100% reliable measured values. The device provides correct values anytime and anywhere. Memosens sensors have a built-in microprocessor in their heads, which convert all sensor signals into a strong digital signal, making them insensitive to humidity or other environmental influences. The reliability of the measurements and the speed of the signal transmission allow users to guarantee the correct operation of their process as well as to optimize its conditions.
The use of different measurement techniques can lead to discrepancies between the values measured in the laboratory and those in the process. With the CML18, Memosens sensors used in the process can also be used in the laboratory. This ensures data consistency. In cases requiring a faster response time, the new CPL51E pH probe can be used, which uses the same Memosens technology as the process sensors. This is of interest for liquids with low ionic conductivity, for example.
Intuitive operation
Liquiline Mobile CML18 can be easily configured using the SmartBlue application, which can be downloaded for free on tablets and smartphones. All measured values and data from the sensors are transferred to SmartBlue via a secure Bluetooth connection. The app provides a convenient way to make adjustments, calibrations and read sensor data and measured values over time. In addition, the CML18 portable transmitter has a built-in wireless charging function which allows its recharging using an inductive charger just as easily as with a smartphone.
