Trescal, a global specialist in metrology services, has announced the acquisition of four companies on three continents since January 2021: Celemetrix and Mobile Test'n Cal in Australia, SICT in Korea and Thailand, and Qualcer in Portugal. These acquisitions bring the group €30 million in turnover and 250 experienced employees.
According to the company, they allow Trescal to become the leader in Australia and South Korea and to establish itself in Portugal and Thailand. From a technical point of view, SICT brings to the group new skills, including antenna verification and calibration, which are highly sought after by the telecommunications, aeronautics and defence sectors.
With these acquisitions, the group's 2021 turnover amounts to €370 million. Trescal has completed 29 acquisitions since Omers acquired one of Canada's largest pension plans in March 2018.
"After the remarkable resilience shown by the group in 2020, these acquisitions reflect our strategy to build an even more balanced group across continents. Our current development efforts in Asia-Pacific will enable us to reach €150 million in revenue in the region in 2023,"said Guillaume Caroit, CEO of the Trescal Group.
