Hottinger Brüel & Kjær announces the launch of the latest version of Tescia software, which offers advanced features to help users gain efficiency by optimizing their time.
The Tescia system offers a perfectly reliable way to collect critical data, especially for vibro-acoustic measurements and monitoring applications. Its unique features and user experience-based workflow reduce test preparation time, protect the specimen, while improving data quality and validation of test results. Automating the continuous monitoring of disruptive vibrations on the ground – rotating machines and sensitive equipment, is now possible with Tescia which now supports reference profiles. Thus, users can set levels – from the simplest to the most complex – for each frequency, so that the system detects and triggers an alarm when thresholds are exceeded.
For long-term testing or for monitoring the condition of propulsion systems, for example, a metric (indicator) logger has been integrated, to allow users to record key parameters such as global values, frequency bands, spectral and order values. This feature simplifies time-consuming post-analysis tasks and saves a lot of time. The results can be imported directly into the BK Connect post-processing and reporting software.
For multi-channel test campaigns, the volume of data recorded is sometimes considerable. Thus, a new feature allows, in real time, to convert the format and store the data in the right location over the course of the test, thus avoiding tedious transfer or archiving tasks – after the test has been completed.
Optional licenses allow additional monitoring stations and real-time data processing stations to be added to increase analysis capabilities and the number of operators interacting during the trial. Thus, several technical specialists are allowed to participate in the test sessions, via several independent analysis stations, without interfering with the recording. The workstations can operate in real time, completely autonomously, locally, connected to the acquisition system network, or remotely. Each license has the same scanning capabilities as the primary acquisition system and allows configurations to be saved locally for later reuse.
Flemming Schultz Larsen, Product Manager Tescia, explains: "I am very proud of this new version of Tescia. The Tescia solution is more effective than ever. It provides the level of functionality and performance our users need, saves them a lot of time and makes their decisions faster. »
