Often industrial process plants include hundreds, if not thousands, of measuring devices. Especially for basic applications, the requirements for ease of commissioning, operation and maintenance have increased significantly in recent years. The Proline 10 meets these expectations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and time savings throughout the life cycle, from purchase to commissioning and intuitive operation.

Customer expectations for process and product quality are constantly increasing, while they require minimal maintenance effort, maximum ease of use and low operating costs.

Endress+Hauser is part of this demand for a sustainable solution and long-term return on investment. Promass sensor technology has proven itself for nearly 40 years of use, with more than one million devices sold. Promag sensors have been on the market for almost 50 years, with more than 3 million devices installed.

Simplicity without compromise

Simplicity starts with the ability for the customer to quickly select the optimal device for their application without neglecting an important control option. But simplicity goes even further. All the functions of the transmitter have a common goal: to make the use of the device as simple as possible.

Commissioning and use saves time, both in the field and in the control room. The implemented commissioning wizard allows you to configure the device on site, either using the self-rotating, high-contrast LCD touchscreen or using the SmartBlue app via Bluetooth. The latter approach is especially useful when devices are installed in hard-to-reach places.

Adding heartbeat

In addition, Proline 10 flow meters are equipped with Heartbeat technology combining diagnostic, verification and monitoring functions for process optimization.

This new generation of transmitter allows an integrated diagnosis of the devices: the messages follow the Namur NE107 standard and simplify the resolution of any malfunctions. It is also possible to launch a routine of verification of proper functioning in order to make the measurement more reliable. This verification can be carried out easily by the operator because it does not require disassembly of the device or interruption of the process.

The ideal device for standard applications in all industries The various Proline 10 flow meters cover a wide range of applications in all industries. Proline Promag electromagnetic flow meters are ideally suited for conductive fluids (Promag W/H/D 10) or even chemically aggressive fluids (Promag P 10). The Promag 10 allows the measurement of conductivity (W/P/H) or temperature (H). Promag W and P can be ordered with a measurement without grounding. Optionally the Promag W 10 can be installed without any straight length or restriction. These instruments meet standard requirements in the following sectors: water and wastewater, food and beverage, mining, minerals and metals, chemicals, electricity and energy, life sciences and utilities. The most common applications are volume measurement, process monitoring, pump control and dosing.

The Proline 10 offers optimal product quality and process monitoring according to Endress+Hauser thanks to the simultaneous measurement of additional process variables.
