The largest French showcase for industrial innovation, Global Industrie will bring together all industry sectors from 7 to 10 March 2023 at Eurexppo Lyon. Directly impacted by the current international conjecture, French companies and production chains will find solutions and know-how that will help them meet the challenges of the multiple transitions underway, whether ecological, energy, societal, business-related or relocation-related.
Solutions to support transitions
Global Industrie 2023 will be the major meeting place for concrete solutions that meet the current challenges facing manufacturers. Thus, the offer of the 2,500 exhibitors (solution providers, service providers, subcontractors, manufacturers and distributors, etc.), spread over 15 universes (see box), and the innovations rewarded by the GI Awards, will be as many technical levers allowing them to improve their productivity and respond to their energy and environmental issues.

Valuing the know-how and trades of the industry
French industry is indeed a breeding ground for jobs, many of which remain unfilled. Since its creation, Global Industrie has been supporting companies looking for new talent by implementing several complementary tools.
Dedicated to training, employment and professions, the GI Avenir space is a must for Global Industrie. Young people in school, job seekers and people in professional retraining will learn about the different professions in the industry, the sectors that recruit and the professions of the future.
To present their job offers, the HR departments of companies will have an online recruitment platform, job dating sessions, etc.
Golden Tech,2nd edition of the industrial excellence competition
The promotion of trades will also be at the heart of the Golden Tech industrial competition. For 4 days, this continuous show celebrates the men and women who embody today's industry in different trades (see box). It will be an opportunity for them to demonstrate their know-how, challenge themselves and fly the colors of their company.
All professionals can register online and participate in the selection. The partners will rely on the knowledge and motivations of each, in order to bring together a maximum of 11 candidates per profession.
For 2023, Golden Techs have chosen the theme of "the hydrogen car". The topics developed in collaboration with business partners, and unveiled 1 hour before the event, will focus on the design, storage or distribution of these vehicles. Candidates will then have 2 hours to answer them as best as possible before being evaluated by a jury of experts. The results (gold, silver and bronze medals) will be announced on Friday, March 10, 2023. The winner in each category will receive a cheque for 1000 euros.
In connection with the automotive theme of the competition, the Golden Tech area will present some exceptional concept cars, such as the H2 prototype of the 24 hours of Le Mans.
Monitoring and forecasting
Global Industrie is also the place where new ideas and prospects converge to meet the various challenges of the industry. In 2023, the conferences will address issues related to transitions, in the form of insights on existing solutions and feedback.
In addition, Global Industrie will conduct numerous interviews on the TV set of the show broadcast on the GI Channel digital channels.
On the stands of economic or institutional representatives, companies will find out about the financing or aid mechanisms put in place by the State or local authorities in the context of relocation, job creation, environmental transition, etc.
