The Asgard Group continues its development by strengthening its service activity in "Maintenance and Metrology" by the acquisition by its subsidiary Sofimae of Seca's ECME (Measurement Control and Testing Equipment) verification business line.
Seca, world leader in the medical scales market, has developed alongside its medical scale verification activity, a maintenance and metrology activity of measuring equipment for its customers. Today, Seca wants to focus its efforts on its core business in order to maintain the excellence of its services, and has therefore decided to sell this business line to Sofimae.
The integration of this branch into Sofimae, the pooling of measurement areas, material resources and skills will allow the whole to improve its response to customer expectations. It will also authorize the development of Sofimae's service offering and commercial presence in the medical sector, already strengthened in mid-2022 by the integration of Medixlab.
The Asgard Group, together with AOIP, Dimelco and Sofimae, operates in many fields of activity such as energy, automotive, nuclear, defense, transport, telecoms, industry, laboratories and education.
Sofimae is a service provider, offering a complete range of verification, calibration, maintenance and management services for measuring instruments carried out on site or in its laboratories. Sofimae holds ten Cofrac accreditations (Temperature, Pressure, Time – Frequency, Electricity – Magnetism, Ionizing Radiation, Radiometry – Photometry and Dimensional) and operates from its laboratories based in the Paris region, the Lille region and Nevers.
AOIP is a recognized player in Measurement, whose equipment and solutions are used by more than 40,000 customers in sixty countries covering all sectors of industry and laboratories. It designs, develops and sells instrumentation equipment (Calibration, Ohmmeters and Data Acquisition Systems), navigation systems and engine starters. AOIP was strengthened in 2022 by the integration of Nimtech, which allowed it to complete its range of pyrotechnic measuring equipment. Dimelco, merged with Sanor since its acquisition in 2019 and strengthened by the acquisition of AJ Service in 2022, is a specialized distributor present throughout France, offering multi-brand test and measurement equipment for industrial use and instrumentation and process solutions.
