It is very likely that hydrogen will be the mainstay of the fuels of the future as long as it respects the environment. However, the generation and storage of hydrogen still poses problems.
AST and PM Instrumentation offer a complete line of pressure measurement sensors for hydrogen applications. They have a thick monobloc 316L membrane. Free from internal O-rings, welds and filling fluids, this family of pressure sensors is certified for use with liquid hydrogen (EC79, CE EN61326).
These innovatively designed pressure sensors are used for storage control and for measuring tank pressure on vehicles.
