The power of the new high-definition 3D scanner combined with the flexibility of the FARO Edge measurement arm gives rise to the most affordable and efficient contactless portable measurement system on the market: the FARO Edge ScanArm HD.
The Edge ScanArm HD allows you to quickly collect point clouds with extreme resolution and accuracy, all with a compact, lightweight and easy-to-use system. With the new features, users can continuously scan different surface materials, regardless of the contrast, reflectivity and complexity of the elements, and without any specific coating or target positioning.

Extra-wide scanning tape and high capture speed accelerate productivity by increasing coverage and reducing scanning time. The 2000 points per scanning line and the new blue laser feature incorporating noise reduction technology allow you to scan the most complex components in every detail. Users quickly become familiar with the device with the new focus feature and existing LED rangefinder functionality, which provide real-time scanning feedback.
The FARO Edge ScanArm HD is the ideal tool for product development, inspection and quality control. It offers very useful features such as point cloud comparison with CAD, rapid prototyping, retro-design and 3D modeling.
