Samsung Electronics France introduces its new hardened smartphone, the Galaxy XCover 3. Ultra-resistant, with a high level of autonomy and professional functions, it perfectly meets the increased requirements of all outdoor occupations such as construction professionals and mobility technicians.
This off-road smartphone features a 4.5' touchscreen that can be used with gloves. It has hardened buttons (home, return, application management, ignition) as well as a customizable button to launch any application. In this way, professionals in the industry, construction or logistics sectors will be able to maintain their protection without reducing the possibilities of use.
Productivity is enhanced by two 5-megapixel (back) and 2-megapixel (front) autofocus cameras that make it easy to scan barcodes or to see a package, a vehicle, a site... With NFC technology, for example, professionals will be able to identify themselves on a site and instantly activate business processes or provide logistical follow-up...
The quad-core processor and long-lasting removable battery (2200 mAh) provide performance, fluidity in multi-tasking management and great autonomy. With 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity, professionals will also be able to quickly share data in real time.
With an off-road design that provides extreme resistance to falls and shocks of all kinds, Samsung's Galaxy XCover 3 has achieved the following certifications:
- IP67: water and dust resistance;
- MIL-STD 810G: military certification that tests products in particularly difficult situations such as extreme temperatures (hot or cold), shocks, vibrations, seawater...
The Galaxy XCover 3 is, for example, able to withstand an immersion of half an hour below 1 meter deep, as well as withstand a fall of 1.20 meters in height.
To meet the enhanced security needs of professionals, the Galaxy Xcover 3 is equipped with the Samsung KNOX security solution. It protects applications and data in a secure and dedicated business space on the terminal and makes it one of the most secure smartphones on the market. Finally, the Galaxy XCover 3 is also compatible with PTI (Isolated Worker Protection) solutions for optimal security.
