Since 2014, Emitech has been developing a new offer of the transfer impedance and armor efficiency measure of cables and connectors. It comes in response to the growing demand from industrialists, particularly in aeronautics and automobiles but also in the military and space sectors. These measures are essential since electronics are ubiquitous since the immunity of cable signals is critical, both for safety issues of equipment operation and confidentiality.
Transfer impedance and armor efficiency measures are complex and specific to be carried out as they are not subject to any generic standard but only to testing methods that require an adaptation of the measurement to each product. They are requested in addition to standard qualifications and allow manufacturers to ensure the quality of the components used in order to meet safety requirements. Emitech aims to develop and master as wide a range of methods of transfer impedance measurements and armour efficiency as possible in order to meet as many specific cables and connectors as possible. In addition, these testing campaigns complement the group's overall range of skills for aeronautics, automotive, military and space.
