The smallest distance laser sensor currently on the market

With the FT 25-RLA, Sensopart introduces the first analog distance laser sensor in its proven and convenient F 25 case to mount. With its small but precise light spot, with its very high repeatability and reduced reaction time, the sensor is ideal for precise measurement tasks such as measuring small parts, positioning or on-board measurement operations on a robot.

The FT 25-RLA reliably and accurately defines the measurement separating it from objects, regardless of their color or surface characteristics. Even glossy surfaces or surfaces with irregular contrasts (e.g. multi-coloured packaging or barcodes) have virtually no influence on the very high repeatability of the sensor (< 0,25 mm). The distance sensor equipped with a red light laser (Class 1) offers a 20 to 100 mm measurement field. The FT 25-RLA sensor also has a TOR switching output that allows independent adjustment of the measurement areas on the two outputs, independently of each other. A reversal of the analog measurement output is also possible.

Given the high repeatability and measurement versatility, the FT 25-RLA is ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, such as seal thickness measurement, double-layer control for components, cavity measurement, or shelving height control for packaging. Its compact dimensions (34 x 20 x 12 mm), its featherweight (10 g) and its reaction time make it an ideal sensor for use in robotic applications.

Like all sensors in the mini range of the F 25, the FT 25-RLA offers a robust, waterproof plastic case (IP 69K and IP 67) as well as many details simplifying its use. This includes flexible assembly with the dovetail clamp, the Teach-in by simple button or external control, the automatic switching to NPN-PNP (Auto-Detect). In addition to the FT 25-RLA laser versions, Sensopart offers two LED versions of the distance sensor (FT 25-RA); This allows a wide variety of measurement applications to be covered with the same concept of functions and use.
