Fluke launches the first digital multimeter that incorporates a TRMS multimeter and an infrared camera into the same device. The ideal combination for electrical equipment maintenance, industrial maintenance and HVAC maintenance.
The new Fluke 279FC thermal multimeter is a connected 3-in-1 instrument. It is a digital multimeter, which also combines the functions of a thermal camera but also an amperemetric clamp (thanks to the optional iFlex sensor), all with the Fluke Connect feature.
Key features of the new Fluke 279FC thermal multimeter:
- It's a digital multimeter. It allows all the essential measures in everyday life, AC/DC voltages up to 1000V, capacity, frequency, continuity, resistance, Min/Max, diode test, AC currents (with optional iFlex sensor), with fluke robustness and the required level of safety. (CATIV 600V).
- It's a thermal imaging camera. Thanks to the thermal image it is possible to instantly visualize and characterize hot spots. This built-in thermal imaging camera has a resolution of 80 x 60, has a storage memory of 100 infrared images, a temperature range of -10 to 200 degrees Celsius and has a 3.5' LCD screen or 8.89 cm (diagonal).
- It's an amperemetric clamp. The optional iFlex sensor measures currents up to 2,500 A and in the most challenging environments and cramped places.
- It is an instrument connected thanks to Fluke Connect, which allows the immediate storage and sharing of measurements and images via smartphones and tablets.
The new Fluke 279FC thermal multimeter comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery for more battery life in the field offering 10 hours of battery life under normal operating conditions.
