CyberOptics Corporation, a leading international developer and manufacturer of high-precision 3D sensing technology solutions, launches the new SQ3000 3D CMM, a coordinate measurement system enabled by multi-reflection suppression (MRS) technology, and CyberCMM, a new comprehensive software suite for coordinate measurement.
In the laboratory as well as in production, the SQ3000 CMM system provides fast, high-precision, repeatable and reproducible measurements for metrology applications used in the manufacture of a wide variety of products such as printed circuit boards, semiconductors and consumer electronics.
CyberOptics' revolutionary MRS technology can be used for 3D automated optical inspection (AOI), 3D automated optical measurement (AOM) and 3D coordinate measurement (CMM). These results go far beyond a pass/fail diagnosis.
" By integrating this robust coordinate measurement capability into our proprietary MRS sensor technology, we offer superior accuracy at speeds never before achieved by traditional CMMs.said Dr Subodh Kulkarni, Chairman and CEO of CyberOptics. It takes seconds instead of hours ".
CyberCMM, a complete suite of CMM tools, delivers metrology-grade measurements at 100 % much faster than a traditional CMM tool, on all critical points such as coplanarity, distance, height and X-Y coordinates, to name but a few. When programming complex applications, quick and easy set-up takes less than an hour, compared to traditional CMMs which require slow, resource-intensive set-up and multiple adjustments.
The new SQ3000 3D high-speed CMM, an extension of the MRS-compatible SQ3000 platform, will be on show from November 14 to 17 at productronica 2017, held at Messe München in Germany in Hall A4, Stand 239.
