The first edition of Measurement World, the new event dedicated to the world of measurement, closed its doors on September 26 with a positive balance sheet.
With Measurement World, a new trade show focusing on all aspects of measurement, and the International Congress of Metrology (CIM), a world-class congress focusing on current events and R&D in measurement and metrology, this year's event lived up to its ambitions.
This new event, acclaimed by the measurement industry, lived up to expectations, with 270 exhibitors, including 27 % from abroad, 130 new exhibitors, 4,400 visits and 350 business meetings that extended beyond the show. Opinions were unanimous on the quality of the content and the friendly atmosphere, with a satisfaction rate of 95 % for visitors and 86 % for exhibitors.
"Measurement World was able to offer measurement professionals a rich, well-attended and shared program. Particularly noteworthy was the conference cycle hosted by EMVA, whose theme, vision, drew a full house. As for CIM 2019, with 850 participants - an increase of 6 % compared to 2017 - and 38 % internationals from 41 countries, the satisfaction rate among participants was over 92 %. What emerged was a rare wealth of content, driven by a dynamic enthusiasm for cutting-edge technologies and the tools and methods of the industry of the future..." explains GL Events, the show's organizer.
On the strength of this first success, Measurement World is already preparing its second edition, in 2021, the dates and location of which will be announced very shortly.
