The Sauermann Group has announced that it will phase out the use of the Kimo Instruments brand in favor of a unified brand under the Sauermann name. At company level, the Kimo Instruments brand will be replaced by the main Sauermann brand.
Change has already begun on the product side, with the launch in 2019 of new product lines such as the Si-CA range of combustion analyzers marketed under the Sauermann brand.
Existing Kimo-branded product lines, such as the AMI range of multifunction devices, will not be renamed for the time being. New products added to these lines will be incorporated under the Sauermann brand as and when they are launched.
This structural change, which is purely strategic in nature, will in no way affect the richness of the overall product portfolio. In fact, Sauermann plans to further expand its product range in the near future.
Bart Peeters, Chief Communications Officer of the Sauermann Group, commented on the merger of the brands: "We have chosen to develop a unified global premium brand because it enables us to better serve our customers and partners. Sauermann already enjoys an international reputation in the industry, and this unified brand approach will enable us to leverage this brand equity."
