The Sauermann Group has announced that it will gradually stop using the Kimo Instruments brand in favour of a unified brand under the name Sauermann. At the overall corporate level, the Kimo Instruments brand will be replaced by the main Sauermann brand.
The change has already begun on the product side, with the launch in 2019 of new product lines such as the Si-CA line of combustion analyzers marketed under the Sauermann brand.
Existing Kimo-branded product lines, such as the AMI multifunctional device line, will not be immediately renamed. The new products that will enrich these lines will be incorporated under the Sauermann brand as they are launched.
This structural evolution, of a purely strategic nature, will not affect the wealth of the overall product portfolio. In fact, Sauermann plans to expand its offerings further in the near future.
Bart Peeters, Chief Communications Officer of the Sauermann Group, commented on the merger of brands: "We have chosen to develop a unified global premium brand because it allows us to better serve our customers and partners. In the industry, Sauermann already enjoys an international reputation and this unified brand approach will allow us to take advantage of this brand capital. »
