Innovative 2-wire technology
The Gammapilot FMG50 is the first compact 2-wire loop-powered transmitter on the market. This is made possible by a unique, patented high-voltage generation that requires only a fraction of the energy of its predecessor. A revolution in radiometric measurement, with significant advantages over traditional tools. As additional installations and power supply cables are no longer required, considerable savings are made over the entire life cycle of the measuring point.
Digital potential
With the latest generation of Gammapilot, operators communicate with the Bluetooth ® technology sensor and Endress+Hauser's SmartBlue application. This application makes available all product and diagnostic data that previously could only be determined in a complex way. Another advantage of Bluetooth functionality is remote start-up of the device. This is particularly useful for measurement points that are difficult to access.
Functional safety
The Gammapilot FMG50 has been designed in accordance with IEC 61508 for direct use in SIL2 and SIL3 applications, and is currently the safest radiometric device on the market. It offers SIL functionality for all measurement tasks (level, threshold level, density and interface). The latest user-friendly SIL wizards reduce system and human errors, and guide the user step-by-step through the iterative test procedure.
Scintillator technology to avoid additional water cooling
In high-temperature applications, conventional sensors require additional water cooling to ensure flawless measurement. The Gammapilot FMG50 meets this challenge with a sensor material of exceptional quality. What's more, the sensor's innovative design ensures minimal self-heating of the device's electronics, contributing to cooling-free operation. Eliminating the need for water cooling saves planning, installation and operating costs.
