The SmartLine SMV800 multivariable sensors are intended for the reliable and precise measurement of compensated mass or volume flow of air, steam or liquid and gaseous media. They significantly reduce the cost of a measurement in terms of equipment and installation.
Honeywell's SmartLine SMV800 multivariable sensor, distributed in France by Engineering Measures, makes it possible, for flow measurement applications by differential pressure devices (all ISO 5167 types or not), to replace the absolute pressure sensor (integrated measurement) and the computer to ensure the corrected flow rate in mass (kg / h) or in standard volume (Nm3 / h).
This smart sensor measures differential pressure and absolute or gauge pressure from a single sensor, and temperature from a standard resistance temperature detector or thermocouple. It extends its technology to the measurement of three distinct variables to calculate the mass or volume flow compensated as a fourth variable. Flow calculations are based on industry standard methods for air, gases, steam or liquids. In its precise and consistent flow calculation, the SMV 800 includes compensation for pressure, temperature and complex variables such as viscosity, discharge coefficient, thermal expansion factor, approach speed factor and the gas expansion factor.
It is available in three different models from Engineering Measures.
