The 3rd edition of the Mesures Solutions Expo trade show will be held at the Cité des Congrès in Lyon on October 14 and 15, 2020. This event, organized by the Réseau Mesure in partnership with the Collège Français de Métrologie (CFM), will showcase the full range of measurement solutions, from research to production, from current solutions to future prospects.
How can we better respond to ever-changing measurement needs? Being as close as possible to its customers: this is the motto of the Mesures Solutions Expo2020 trade show. The Réseau Mesure aims to bring together measurement professionals in a single location to offer visitors comprehensive, innovative solutions to a wide range of potential needs.
The event is structured around opportunities for exchange, both at exhibitors' stands and in the "Metrology Innovation" pavilion run by the Collège Français de Métrologie, as well as at conferences and technical workshops, including the program is now well known.
CFM partner of MSE 2020 in Lyon
The Collège Français de Métrologie will be organizing a series of conferences on topics in line with industrial needs, as well as quizzes focusing on quality, methods and techniques, and fun, pragmatic metrology activities.
After reviewing the "essentials of metrology" presented by LNE, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in "good practices for temperature measurements", an animation proposed by Cetiat, work on "optimizing calibration intervals", thanks to the intervention of BEA Métrologie, or on "estimating measurement uncertainties", also from Cetiat.
Interactive quizzes will round off the series of lectures, providing the opportunity to explore certain operational issues in greater depth. What's the difference between monitoring and verification? How to control your metrological connection? How can metrology give you confidence in the declaration of conformity of your products? What are the different methods for estimating measurement uncertainties? What does the GUM say? How to propagate uncertainties? Correlations between quantities? How are MPEs defined? What can calibration do that verification cannot? How can we ensure that measurement error remains below the Maximum Tolerated Error? How can we master the implementation of temperature and pressure measurements? Quite a program! Visitors will be able to test and add to their knowledge over the two days.
Technical workshops
"It's essential to perfect your knowledge of metrology, but equally important to understand the innovations you can exploit to measure better and more efficiently. So 20 exhibitors will be addressing technical issues illustrated by concrete examples from the fields of in-line, on-line, PAT, IoT/" smart sensor "only measurements in extreme situations, pushed to their limits or without contact".say the organizers.
You'll be able to take part in workshops such as "Measuring dynamic torque without contact and without inertia - it works!" or "Capturing a fleeting phenomenon without missing a beat", "Calibrating humidity probes, what means should you use?", "Measurement becomes connected: the different solutions, advantages, disadvantages, metrology and best practices", and more. Pragmatic topics illustrated by customer experiences.
Laboratory layout
Chemical laboratories are places where chemicals are handled, and where it is imperative to protect both the handlers and the environment.
How to design a laboratory? The different types of laboratories, constraints and prerequisites, aeraulics, installation of equipment and apparatus, choice of EPCs, maintenance... Fabrilabo will address this question. For each step, we'll remind you of the standards and regulations in force.
A space dedicated to innovative start-ups
This year, an area will be dedicated to start-ups, enabling them to present their projects. The world of measurement is evolving, touching more and more fields for which new expertise is now available. The list of start-up exhibitors will be unveiled in a few weeks' time.
An employment area
Training and recruiting in line with the market are essential if we are to continue to meet our customers' needs as effectively as possible. This year, Mesures Solutions Expo2020 will provide a forum for exchanges between measurement professionals, schools and recruitment professionals. Job opportunities abound. A conference will be dedicated to the expectations of measurement professionals in terms of recruitment.
