The 309 exhibitors present were visited by a total of 17209 people over 4 days. Down 9% compared to 2018, this lower attendance is mainly explained by the health context.
The strategy put in place for more than a year for the organization of Simodec 2022 has demonstrated its relevance, both for exhibitors and to attract visitors. A completely renovated hall, a redeployed stand layout, events open to the perspectives of the trades, innovations highlighted in an original way, professional partners involved, are all elements that have helped to convince the world's leading suppliers of machines, tools and production equipment dedicated to turning and precision mechanical manufacturing, the need to participate in Simodec 2022.
Having not taken place for four years, such a technological gathering present at the show could only attract investors in turning and precision mechanical manufacturing. Constraints due to geopolitical events and the health situation have combined to curb international attendance. However, many visitors came from far and wide to discover the latest innovations and prepare their investments in machine tools, robotics, peripheral equipment, tools and tools, software and 4.0 solutions. A human-sized exhibition, Simodec 2022 has allowed many contacts and exchanges between suppliers and investors. The question of delivery times was at the center of discussions for the most important investments, as well as for the most innocuous. All participants, exhibitors and visitors, were unanimous in recognizing that Simodec 2022 was an exceptional edition in more ways than one. This edition demonstrates in any case the great resilience of the industrial professions of precision mechanics. As of today, Rochexpo is preparing the 2024 edition, which will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the show' existence, also in March.
