Flir Systems has announced the addition of four new models to its Exx-Series range of high-performance thermal cameras: the E96, E86, E76 and E54. Compared with previous Exx-Series cameras, the new models offer superior thermal resolution, producing brighter, easier-to-read images, as well as on-board piloting to improve the efficiency of on-site inspections. The new Exx-Series cameras are designed to help professionals detect early signs of building failure, identify hot spots, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and prevent problems before they cause costly damage.
With 640 x 480 resolution and 8x digital zoom, the E96 is Exx-Series' most advanced thermal camera to date. It delivers better measurement results at greater distances from the target, so professionals can safely diagnose electrical faults or locate hidden anomalies at very high temperatures (up to 1500 ºC), even in harsh industrial environments such as steelworks or furnaces, to keep the workplace running smoothly.
For the first time, Flir Inspection Route comes as standard on every Exx-Series camera. It is also complemented by Flir Thermal Studio Pro software with the Route Creator module (sold separately as part of an annual subscription). With this complete inspection management solution, professionals can create and export customized inspections and predefined routes, ideal for large-scale or multi-site electrical or mechanical installations.

The E96, E86 and E76 models feature UltraMax high-definition image-enhancement technology, and deliver improved contrast thanks to level and angular range functions that can be activated at the touch of a button to display greater image detail. What's more, interchangeable AutoCal lenses offer complete coverage of both near and distant targets, thanks to the integrated laser rangefinder that guarantees the sharp focus required for accurate thermal surveys.
