Over the past few weeks, an intensive exchange has taken place between trade show organizer Messe Stuttgart and Vision exhibitors. " In the course of our discussions, it became clear that Vision would not be able to achieve the usual high quality this year, not least because of the high international standard and the continuing travel restrictions, says Florian Niethammer, Vision's project manager. In close collaboration with our exhibitors, who have cancelled their participation in the show, and our promoter, the VDMA Industrial Vision Group, we have therefore informed all participants today that Vision, the world's leading trade fair for machine vision, will not be taking place this year."
A survey was also launched in order to respond as closely as possible to the needs of the sector and extrapolate appropriate measures. "It's important to us to have details of the impact of Vision's cancellation on exhibitors and visitors or their business, so we're collecting feedback in a targeted way and asking for active participation."explains Florian Niethammer. The team's aim is to develop appropriate content based on the survey results, and to be able to announce the date of the next Vision as soon as possible.
