Creaforma specialist in 3D optical measurement technologies and 3D engineering services, has just announced the Vxtrack dynamic measurement module at Control (held last week in Stuttgart). This is part of VXelements, the company's proprietary 3D data acquisition software. Creaform. By combining the VXtrack module with the C-Track dual-camera optical sensor, it is possible to measure positions and orientations in space simultaneously, continuously and with high precision. Combined with the HandyPROBE arm-free, portable coordinate measuring machine, this is a complete, portable 3D measurement solution for both probing and dynamic part inspection.
VXtrack offers a measurement rate of up to 24,000 3D points/second with oversampling, an expandable measurement volume, real-time curve display, an API for interfacing with third-party applications, and a function for synchronizing acquisition with an external trigger signal. Its many applications include robot calibration and guidance, monitoring complex assembly processes, real-time compensation of machining machine errors, and tracking deformations during test phases. VXtrack is useful in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, robotics, biomechanics and non-destructive testing.
Remember that Creaform is a Canadian company founded in May 2002, and has been present in France since February 2005.
