With a workforce of 14,400 people, Germany's T-V Rheinland is a major service provider in industry, construction and transport. With the acquisition of the batave company Sonavation, the group strengthens its skills in non-destructive control. Sonavation was founded in 1988 and employs about 50 people in ultrasound NDT services, particularly for the oil and gas markets. Its turnover is 12 million euros and its average annual growth is 15%.
Commenting on the acquisition, the management of the T-V Rheinland indicated that it was in response to their ambition to develop the NDT business outside Germany and the United States. With Sonavation,the group is now setting foot in the countries of Benelux...
