At the age of 52, Patrick Teixeira has chosen to join SGS France, the French entity of the global specialist in inspection, analysis and certification. He will head up the Group's Industry division. In post since October 1, 2020, he will steer and structure the organization in order to develop the sales strategy and diversify the business, particularly in the energy sector. He supervises a team of 500 employees and puts all his expertise in the industrial sector at the service of the SGS Group's growth strategy.
"My ambition is to modernize our processes and structure our resources, in order to diversify our offerings and ensure the sustainability and, above all, the development of our business. My missions will be to support nuclear players in their business growth, both in the life extension of existing facilities and in the construction of new EPRs (control of manufacturing and resources). My second challenge will be to support the diversification of our businesses and markets, particularly in energy-related areas such as wind power and hydrogen.says Patrick Teixeira.
With over 30 years' experience in industry, Patrick Teixeira has acquired a wealth of experience in industrial service management, risk analysis, operational safety and certification.
From 1991 to 1998, he began his career with Bureau Veritas in Consulting (Industry and Services sector) on behalf of various manufacturers and service companies. From 1999 to 2018, he continued his career at Bureau Veritas, where he held the position of department manager in risk management, before rapidly moving on to management positions (industry division, regional agency, technical and performance department, European technical center, etc.). In 2005, he graduated from HEC - Cesa (Certificate Executive Management). Business Unit Manager & Entrepreneur. From 2018 to 2020, he joined Assystem Technologies, now Expleo (Automotive sector), as Global Capability Manager.
