On December 19, 2019, the board of directors of the Centre technique des industries mécaniques (Cetim) elected a new chairman. Jérôme Duprez succeeds Emmanuel Vielliard. Aged 63, this engineer from ESME Sudria and business manager at IAE is Chairman of SFCD, the reference shareholder of the Moret Industries group, a major global player in primary and secondary agro-industry.

Having joined the Group in 1987 as a quality engineer, he held a number of positions, including Chairman, which he stepped down in 2017 (after growing the business from 15 million euros in 1987 to 280 million euros in 2016, including 85 % in exports).

In addition to these industrial activities, Jérôme Duprez was President of UIMM Aisne, then of UIMM Picardie following the merger of the three entities in the Aisne, Oise and Somme departments. He was also Chairman of Profluid and Europump.

As Chairman of Cetim, Jérôme Duprez is keen to consolidate Cetim's founding missions, which today translate into a commitment to making mechanical engineering "France's leading industry of the future", and to making the challenge of ecological and energy transition a major cause.
