Available in two versions, for flow measurement on free surface flows (UF831CO) and on loaded pipes (UF831L).
The UF831 flowmeter series is a new generation of devices dedicated to flow measurement. They benefit from the exclusive Ultraflux principle of ultrasonic measurement by difference in transit time. This technology guarantees precise, reliable and stable results even under extreme measurement conditions. The UF831 series achieves a speed measurement accuracy of less than + or - 0.5%, a repeatability of the order of 0.2% and a typical flow calculation accuracy of 0.5% to 5% depending on the application and number of strings.
This transit time measurement system becomes essential when, for example, knowledge of the level of the fluid alone does not make it possible to determine its flow rate, as is the case in free surface flow regimes such as canals, rivers etc. The UF831CO then makes it possible to obtain the flow rate by integrating the hydraulic profile of 2 to 8 speed chords which can be distributed over 2 channels, the speed being integrated on each chord. It is also possible to integrate an external speed measurement as an external chord. The maximum width of the channel goes up to 300 m according to the probes or even more on preliminary study.
The flowmeter is insensitive to downstream congestion and loading of the structure is possible. It offers up to 4 level entries. The UF831CO is used for flow measurement in sewage and storm water treatment networks, for sewage treatment plants, irrigation canals and rivers.
Using dual DSP technology, the flowmeter is available in a UF831L version dedicated to flow measurement on a loaded pipe, ideal for echoes measurement in difficult conditions. It allows the measurement of up to 8 speed profiles on the same pipe or 2 pipes, with a maximum diameter of 10 meters. This version also has 10 input / output modules, a recorder of 270,000 variables and an optional communication module allowing dialogue with most common protocols (Ethernet, etc.).
This high-tech device allows, among other things, the measurement of universal flow on all types of liquid and gaseous fluids by using external or intrusive probes in drinking water and sanitation networks, in hydroelectric dams and in nuclear power. UF831 series works with static probes, maintenance free and the devices do not require hydraulic calibration. They are remotely manageable, the converter and the software offering user-friendly use. Bidirectional measurement is possible with all flowmeters, which adapt to any type of section thanks to their wide choice of probes and supports. They are fitted with 316L stainless steel housings, plug-in connectors, they have IP67 protection and operate over a temperature range of –25 ° C / + 50 ° C. They can be used in Ex zones.
