Apave and Afim* strengthen their partnership to provide greater protection for those involved in industrial maintenance.
Apave will exclusively promote and implement the SecurAfim approach. Developed jointly by Afim and INRS, and compliant with the new NF X60-400 standard (standard for safe maintenance operations), this approach makes all maintenance operations involving hazardous energies safer. The aim is to reinforce risk prevention and make maintenance work on equipment safer.
SécurAfim: an approach to secure energy consignment operations
Faced with the difficulties of implementing safety and energy management procedures in the field, SecurAfim, a practical tool available to all professionals, is based on 3 simple ideas:
- prior analysis of energy-related risks before intervention ;
- identification and location of means of separation, dissipation of residual energy and protection against potential mechanical energy ;
- safety by separating, condemning and dissipating energy, checking and signalling.
Apave's SecurAfim approach means :
- a practical, ready-to-use tool particularly suited to small and medium-sized businesses;
- a case containing useful tools and information (buttons, signage, guides and model documents) for implementing the approach in the field;
- A 3-day training program combining theory and practice to improve awareness of risk analysis linked to maintenance operations and learn how to implement the SecurAfim approach;
- full support from Apave teams (technical, organization, hotline).
