The acquisition of Microscan Systems brings Omron's innovative industrial automation solutions more than 35 years of experience in barcode reading, industrial vision and verification to maximize productivity while ensuring product quality and consumer safety.
Following the acquisition, completed on October 2, 2017, Omron Industrial Automation Europe announced that Microscan Systems' automatic identification, industrial vision and verification solutions are now integrated into its full range of quality control and inspection products.

A comprehensive traceability and inspection solution allows manufacturers to track products throughout the manufacturing process, record every step of production to optimize quality, and ensure that errors are quickly detected.
