Artec 3D, a world-renowned developer and manufacturer of scanners and software 3D professionals, announced the opening of an office in Tokyo, Japan, after more than 15 years of presence in the country through its resellers.

Located in one of Artec 3D's key markets, the new office will focus primarily on supporting the company's many existing and new customers and resellers with both training and technical assistance. It will also allow Artec 3D to stay close to this market and respond directly and quickly to the needs of resellers and customers, while bringing them closer to all of Artec's resellers and offices worldwide. The office is the latest addition to Artec 3D's global presence, which now includes the headquarters and production center in Luxembourg, offices in the United States, Montenegro and China, and a network of more than 160 authorized resellers covering more than 65 countries.

" I have known Artec 3D for many years," said Luxembourg's Ambassador to Japan, H.E. Pierre Ferring. Artec 3D is one of those companies that add value to society with their products. I am happy to see them establishing themselves in Japan. Given the technological excellence of Artec's products and the Japanese love of quality, I am convinced that Artec 3D Japan will succeed. "

Artec 3D's comprehensive line of 3D scanning solutions includes professional long-range, portable and desktop scanners, all of which are compatible with its proprietary 3D software. These technologies are essential for quality control, reverse engineering, inspection, and design tasks in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, engineering, medicine, heritage conservation, education, entertainment, and many others.

" We are delighted and excited to open this new office in Tokyo after more than 15 years of successful collaboration with our partners Data Design and OPT Technologies who support customers in Japan and the region, said Artec's CEO 3D Art Yukhin. Japan is a very special place for us, both in terms of customer relations and business opportunities, and we look forward to working closely with all our dealers. "

Artec 3D professional scanning solutions are already playing a key role in Japan, and are being used by leading brands such as Toyota and Asics, as well as public and educational institutions and organizations. Tech Strake, a Japanese company specializing in aircraft customization, uses Artec Eva and Space Spider scanners to customize helicopters, equipping them with cameras for search and rescue missions, patrol operations, film and television projects, and land and terrain digitization by the Institute of Geographical Studies. In manufacturing, leading sportswear brand Asics uses Artec Space Spider to scan its shoes in high resolution for quality control and marketing purposes.
