Ellistat, a software company known for its APC software solution for machine-tool setting automation, launches a new comprehensive software offering for production quality.
APC (Automated Process Control), Ellistat's flagship software solution, has won a number of awards at industry trade fairs, and automates the process of setting up machine tools to ensure quality compliance from the very first part machined.
From now on, the young French publisher is offering a complete software suite made up of various autonomous modules which communicate with each other. This Quality Suite, created by quality experts - not IT specialists - aims to become the benchmark in the field of industrial quality.
The development of this software suite began over ten years ago, initiated by Maurice Pillet, father of Ellistat's founder, and recognized as one of France's leading names in production quality. Now on the market, this software suite offers all the standard functions traditionally offered:
- SPC (Statistical Process Control) enables you to monitor the statistical evolution of processes and control production in real time.
- IQC (Incoming Quality Control) is dedicated to supplier sample control. Thanks to its dynamization and progressive control functions, it is now possible to halve the number of checks carried out for the same incoming quality.
- MME (Management of Measuring Equipment) ensures the conformity of control instruments by monitoring not only their calibration, but also the associated R&R (repeatability & reproducibility) guarantees. This module offers an automated approach to maintaining the accuracy of measuring instruments, guaranteeing product quality and compliance with standards and regulations.
- MNC (Management of Non Conformities) focuses on detecting, tracking and resolving incidents of non-conformity. The MNC module improves responsiveness, traceability, efficiency and prevention of quality-related problems, helping to boost customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
In addition to offering an innovative user and technical approach to the so-called "standard" functions, Ellistat offers a number of new additional modules:
- Data Analysis for capability calculations, experimental design and statistical analysis of data from the SPC and IQC modules. This module's machine learning functions and algorithms can be used to understand the origin of machine drifts, or to statistically differentiate between suppliers.
- E-learning: 70 training modules to train all employees in the tools of Lean and Quality, and to enhance the skills of the whole company.
- APC (Automated Process Control) dedicated to the machining market. This module automates the process of setting up machine tools, ensuring quality conformity from the very first part machined.
"We are delighted to present our Quality Suite to manufacturers. As part of their digitalization strategy, Ellistat aims to improve their operational efficiency, optimize their production processes, guarantee compliance with standards and regulations, reduce their production costs and finally improve the quality of their products. Convinced that it is always possible to go further in innovation, we intend, with this Quality Suite, to give a new lease of life to a historic market".says Davy Pillet, CEO of Ellistat.
"At the cutting edge of innovation, the development of the Ellistat Quality software suite was focused on maximizing return on investment. The idea, for example, is to see to what extent it is possible to reduce the number of controls, but with the same quality. Or, with the SPC module linked to the Data Analysis module, to obtain data but above all to be able to use it to find out where the problem comes from, and then be able to make the right decisions".comments the CEO.
Easy to use and implement
Supplied in Saas mode (software hosted by the publisher) or On-Premise mode (software installed directly on the customer's network), Ellistat's solution is based on a native "full web" architecture, the most obvious advantage of which is nomadism, with the possibility of connecting to the software from any terminal connected to the Internet, via a simple browser. Other advantages are the fluidity of navigation for users and the speed of response of the platform. It is supplied in Saas mode (software hosted by the publisher) or On-Premise mode (software installed directly on the customer's network).
To implement the solution, Ellistat offers its customers a support package. First, an on-site diagnostic is carried out to determine the best method for deploying the solution. This is followed by a preparation phase. This enables us to be precise during implementation. Finally, three or four days of training are provided.
The Ellistat software suite will be unveiled as a world preview at Global Industrie Paris 2024, Hall 5 Stand G148. The show will be held from March 25 to 28, 2024, at Paris Nord Villepinte.
