Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division today announced the release of HxGN EAM v12, the latest version of the best-in-class enterprise asset management service in model SaaS.Il is the second major release of EAM since it was acquired by Hexagon in October 2021.
HxGN EAM v12 provides extensive functionality across the board. In particular, it is developing its Asset Performance Management (APM) module by adding root-cause analysis (RCA) functions. In addition, it allows the calculation and visualization of Asset Investment Planning (AIP) with EcoSys. In addition, there is increased capacity for HxGN EAM Digital Work Mobile.
"We believe this new version of HxGN EAM will significantly reduce the occurrence and impact of failures," said Peter Bynarowicz, Product Manager of Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division. "Our new RCA system allows customers to analyze incidents, diagnose equipment failures and apply findings to equipment RCM management models for future prevention. It is one of the first integrated holistic root-cause analysis systems available on the market. »
AIP enhancements are also at the heart of v12's added value. The graphical interface now available allows an advanced visualization of current sources of spending, and how investments should be concentrated in the future. Via the new Constraint Optimizer engine, it is now possible to calculate the financing needed to achieve the desired objectives for the selected assets.
Through Ecosys, users can view the results of their investment planning and compare multiple scenarios.
With this improved asset investment planning management, organizations can ensure that critical equipment has sufficient funding to meet their serviceability and service level objectives. This gives them a real long-term view of their capital investment plans.
This new version also adds several components to the Digital Work mobile platform, such as the use of custom tabs to allow access to external links configured in different records. It integrates calibration reading capture with increased control over measurement accuracy, as well as the ability to perform and record root-cause analysis (CRA) directly from mobile devices.
"Our cloud-first mentality has been absolutely critical to the development and delivery of this HxGN EAM v12 . We have a patented, cloud-based solver that adds a lot of intelligence to our product and brings immense value to our customers," Bynarowicz says. "HxGN EAM v12 includes over 150 enhancements. There aren't many products on the market that include that much, as quickly and non-disruptively. We are truly proud of this solution and are confident that it will meet the needs of our current and future customers. »
